In 1984 the Government of Surakarta City based Regional Regulation No. 4 of 1984 established the Storage Center located at Jebres Pedaringan, eastern city of Solo. The purpose originally was as Central Warehousing to support economic activity and business city of Solo and the surrounding region. Therefore, at the time of Surakarta City Government has no experience in the field of warehousing services, then with funding support from the Ministry of Finance making cooperation with a state that has experienced, namely PT. Ghara Bhanda Mutual (BGR) as the manager.

To further managed by the Central Warehousing Pedaringan PT.BGR until 1999. The next period of the year 1999-2009 by the City of Surakarta was decided to be managed by Agency or team manager who filled Surakarta City Government Personnel. Next in line with the Government's determination to realize Surakata City management and development of the Central Warehousing & Pedaringan become better professionals so Goverment of Surakarta make Perda No.3 of 2009 on the Establishment of Regional Enterprise Storage Center City "Pedaringan" Surakarta (KDP Perusda "Perdaringan" Surakarta).
